Winners of the First Moscow International festival of arts «Traditions and Contemporaneity» have opened to Bruxelles the talents.
Since October, 29th till November, 2nd in the Russian centre of a science and culture in Bruxelles there has passed an exhibition of prize-winning jobs of winners of the First Moscow International festival of arts «Traditions and Contemporaneity». These days each European could meet cultural traditions of Russia and see them through a modern art prism.
This action became a important aspect of a cultural life of Belgium and has collected many known art workers, representatives of creative intelligency, and also all those to whom Russian art is interested.
An exhibition was opened by the president of the Moscow Social Foundation of culture support and modern art development Vera Nikolaevna Kiseleva and the adviser-envoy of Embassy of Russia in Belgium Boris Anatolevich Zhilko. Having congratulated all present with so significant event in the program on culture development in Russia, Vera Nikolaevna has wished artists of the further successes and creative achievements.
To the court of the European spectator the best jobs have been exposed: the photoproject "No pain of others" Lithuanian photoartist Egle Melinauskiene, photojob "Zhalgiris" Ugnius Geldud, Boris Yefimov's jobs - the owner of a special prize «For creative longevity and future plans», Michael Levin who has received a prize in a nomination «the Young artist», Vladimir Molchanov - the winner in the "Graphic Art" direction.
Sculptor Alexander Burganov, the winner in nominations "Installation", has presented breadboard models of busts of Russian tsar Alexander I and the founder of the Belgian royal dynasty of king Leopold I. According to Burganov, present at exhibition opening, these bronze busts in 2008 will be established in Park of Bruxelles opposite to the Royal palace.
